Notebook Edam 20th of August, 2014
In the First World War, postal pigeons were important in the spreading of messages and the fortress near Edam was equipped for it. The artist is pitching a camp at the dike of Edam and will reflect in word and image on such themes as mobilisation, inundation, pain and consolation. Each weekend a pigeon will fly out with a new message to the outside world.
