Notebook Salad Gardens, Amsterdam – Ester Eva Damen reseraches Urban Gardening in the Glass House near the so-called ‘Salad Gardens” in Amsterdam. Topics are culture versus nature, the exploitation of small or unusual spaces for gardening and the edibility of wild greens or even urban animals in Amsterdam. During the exhibition, a workshop will take place on the manufacturing of seedbombs for guerrilla gardening. A guided tour will show where wild edibles can be found in the neighborhood of the Glass House and how they can be used in cooking. In collaboration with Ellen Mookhoek, hunter and urban forager.
